About The Hope Factory
The Hope Factory is a boutique Shopify Premier Partner agency based in Melbourne, Australia. Founded in 2008, we’ve worked across 450+ ecommerce projects over 16+ years, helping brands design, build and grow Shopify and Shopify Plus stores. We work with businesses ranging from emerging brands to established retailers, with a focus on creating ecommerce experiences that are both commercially effective and built to scale.
We bring strategy, UX design and development together under one roof, allowing us to approach each project holistically. From custom Shopify builds and store upgrades to complex migrations, we help businesses improve customer journeys, conversion opportunities and the overall performance of their ecommerce store.
Our development team specialises in Shopify-specific solutions and complex integrations, including shipping, payment gateways, APIs, subscriptions, loyalty programs, personalised quizzes and marketing automation. We also migrate stores from platforms including Magento, BigCommerce, Neto, OpenCart and WooCommerce.
We intentionally keep our team and client roster small, typically working with just 3–4 clients at a time. This means senior expertise stays close to the project, communication is direct, and every store gets the attention and considered approach you'd expect from a specialist Shopify partner.

Wittner — A Scalable New Shopify Experience
Following its acquisition by The Shoe Group, Wittner engaged us to migrate its ecommerce store from BigCommerce to Shopify.
